Washington, DC -- The Democratic National Committee is targeting 32 House Republicans, including Washington State’s Dave Reichert,  in a new radio ad campaign that criticizes them for voting against health care reform legislation earlier this month.

The commercials will begin running Tuesday and are aimed at Republicans in congressional districts that voted for President Obama in the 2008 election.

"Republicans have read this wrong politically," said DNC spokesman Hari Sevugan. "They think the political peril is in voting for reform. The political peril is in voting against reform and siding with big insurance companies instead of their neighbors."

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was able to marshal a health care reform bill through her chamber, although not without controversy. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is expected to bring the Senate bill to the floor soon, but the fate of health care reform remains up in the air as Democrats remain divided over issues such as a government-run insurance option and abortion.

Rep. Dave Reichert represents Washington state's Eighth Congressional District. The district is made of most of the region known as "the Eastside" and the mostly rural eastern parts of King and Pierce counties.

If it helps get rid of this guy, great. He does not represent his district. He's a fraud.

How funny that some folks seem to have a memory of convenience when it comes to national political committees. Have you already forgotten the bald-faced lies that were on local TV for weeks during the last governor's race. Those were generated by something call the Republican Governor's Political Action Committee; actually a post office box in Washington D.C. They too were nameless and faceless. I guess it's acceptable to spread manure as long as you do it in the name of the GOP.

Go Reichert! The creep of marxism in the name of "social justice" is under way. Some one has to take a stand.

As soon as people stop electing only the electable and start voting truly on merit, the only change in government is whether the majority have a D or R after their name.

DNC does this constantly. The Socialist Democrats will not be satisfied until they have overwhelming advantages in congress with a Democratic president so that they may finally defeat the two party system and turn the United States of America into the Socialist Democratic Republic of the States or some such political entity. Independents and moderates need to wake up and realize this is the goal of the left. Unfortunately, the remnants of the Republican party are so busy trying to impose a theocracy on us, they have lost sight of the real issues. What we really need is a TRUE and Independent 3rd party. Not just a candidate and not just a bunch of anti government kooks, but a real viable 3rd party movement for the majority of Americans who are moderate right to moderate left in their political views.

Dave Reichert. Great job. Stick to your morals about this thing. The health bill that passed the House is not good for this country. You are not on record to be blamed for it. It has nothing to do with health and much to do with freedom. This health care bill would send some of us to jail for not buying a government forced product.. It forces all Insurance companies to hand over all of our medical records to the Government. It will bankrupt our country.

I'm not a fan of Reichart, but I am even less of a fan of these bs ads! If you are the DNC, Sponsered by the DNC, or trying to further the DNC, then you should stand up and identify yourself as such! Instead, they hide behind some vague acromnym trying to appeal to everyone like a wolf in sheeps clothing. And before you libs cry foul, I feel the same way when the other side does it. If it's good enough to support, stand up and admit who and what you are!
