It all started a month ago with the guys at Expedia in Bellevue, and now three offices have joined in on the fun -- recreating vintage video games on a "windows-based platform."

Maybe they could have paid more if they didn't have to spend so much on wasted office supplies..

You know what? I was on one of the teams at MS that did this. We only made $10/hr, some of us made less. It was something that was done off of company time. You have no idea how stressful it can be to work in some of these enviornments. Depending on what you do you might spend 70 hours at work and get no OT because you are on salary. I REALLY hope you love your job if you put that much of your time in to it. So lighten up, and enjoy it for what it is. Being able to find a common ground and build a sense of community with your coworkers is a great thing. Plus it looks pretty cool eh?

This must be nice to be able to go to work and do nothing but put postup in windows, and how many people are out of work. No wonder the Democrats can win big in King county and Seattle. Nothing to do at work!!!!

King 5 and nwcn allow advertising pop ups that obscure reading material. Some websites don't even view their own websites or they would know how annoying this is!

To everyone complaining about not having a job and these people having a "cushy job"... My husband put in over 80 hours this week a the company you seem to know so much about. These people work hard and do fun little nerdy things as an outlet. Stop complaining that you don't have a job and being so bitter towards those of us that do.

While so many in this economy are just scraping by, it must be nice to have a cushy high paying job where you do nothing all day but waste paper on stupidly lame window dressing (literally).
