DARRINGTON, Wash. – A prayer vigil was held Wednesday at the auditorium at Darrington High School for victims and families affected by Washington’s devastating landslide.

Almost everybody in the tight-knit communities of Darrington, Arlington and Oso, knows someone who was profoundly affected by the slide.

Everybody is looking for hope and good news. Gary ‘Mac’ McPherson, a man injured in the disaster, was released from the hospital. His wife Linda, sadly, did not survive.
