Look for streaking blue jets across the Seattle skyline Monday, as the Blue Angels take an early flight ahead of Seafair weekend.

Today they'll be doing media flights between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. All takeoffs and landings will be at Boeing Field.

The Blue Angels begin practice on Thursday and Friday between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The Blue Angels' official Seafair performances are on Saturday and Sunday, also from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Interstate 90 will close Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for takeoffs and landings -- here is the WSDOT schedule.

Among the people who got the lucky chance to ride in the back of one of these jets are Tyler Rice, a science teacher at Sunnyside High School from the Yakima Nation Indian Reservation, and Deidre Holmberg, principal of Delta High School in Richland.

If you snap a picture of the Blue Angels in flight this week, be sure to send it to KING 5. You can email us, tweet, post it on our Facebook page, or post it directly to KING5.com yourself.
