SEATTLE –The FBI is distributing wanted posters for "Barefoot Bandit" Colton Harris-Moore.
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the 19-year-old's arrest.
Harris-Moore is charged with interstate transportation of a stolen aircraft, stemming from the theft of an airplane from Bonners Ferry, Idaho on Sept. 29, 2009. The plane crash-landed near Snohomish, Wash. That's just one of the many aircraft Harris-Moore is suspected of stealing after presumably teaching himself how to fly.
Most recently, authorities believe Harris-Moore stole an airplane from Bloomington, Ind., and flew it to the Bahamas where it crashed in shallow waters off the coast of Abaco Island.
Harris-Moore is suspected in over 70 crimes including burglaries of homes, businesses and banks; car, boat and airplane thefts; and even assaults on police officers. Most of the crimes have been in the Pacific Northwest, but he is also suspected in recent crimes in other states.
The FBI says he may be in possession of stolen firearms.
