NASSAU, Bahamas - For two years he stayed a step ahead of the law -- stealing cars, powerboats and even airplanes, police say, while building a reputation as a 21st-century folk hero. On Sunday, Colton Harris-Moore's celebrity became his downfall.

Witnesses on the Bahamian island of Eleuthera recognized the 19-year-old dubbed the "Barefoot Bandit" and called police, Bahamas Police Commissioner Ellison Greenslade said at a celebratory news conference in Nassau, the capital.

"The suspect, in an effort to evade capture, engaged local police in a high-speed chase, by boat," said Greenslade. "After a brief chase, the suspect was taken into custody without incident."

Greenslade said shots were fired during the water chase but he did not say who fired them. He also said Harris-Moore was carrying a handgun that he tried to throw away.

Another senior police official, however, said police fired to disable the motor on the suspect's stolen boat, and that Harris-Moore threw his gun in the water. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the case, also said that police recovered a laptop and a GPS locator from the suspect.

Police flew Harris-Moore in shackles to Nassau. True to his nickname, the teen with close-shorn hair was shoeless as he walked off the plane wearing short camouflage cargo pants, a white long-sleeved shirt and a bulletproof vest.

Harris-Moore is blamed for several thefts in the Bahamas in the week since allegedly crash-landing a stolen plane there, and Bahamian authorities said he will be prosecuted for those crimes before the start of any U.S. extradition proceedings.

The 6-foot-5-inch Harris-Moore had been on the run since escaping from a Washington state halfway house in 2008. He is accused of breaking into dozens of homes and committing burglaries across Washington, as well as in British Columbia and Idaho.

He is also suspected of stealing at least five planes -- including the aircraft he allegedly lifted in Indiana and flew more than 1,000 miles (1,600 kilometers) to the Bahamas, despite a lack of formal flight training.

Some of his alleged actions appeared intended to taunt police: In February, someone who broke into a grocery store in Washington's San Juan Islands drew cartoonish, chalk-outline feet all over the floor.

Through it all, his ranks of supporters grew. Some of his more than 60,000 Facebook fans posted disappointed messages Sunday, while others promoted T-shirts and tote bags with the words "Free Colton!" and "Let Colton Fly!"

Even someone in the Bahamas had mixed feelings about his arrest.

"I feel like it would have been good if he got away because he never hurt anybody, but then he was running from the law," said Ruthie Key, who owns a market on Great Abaco Island and let Harris-Moore use her wireless Internet connection July 5.

"He seemed very innocent when I spoke with him at the store. I don't think he'd hurt anybody," Key said.

Island police had been searching for the teen since he allegedly crash-landed the plane on Abaco, where he was blamed for at least seven burglaries. The search expanded to Eleuthera after police there recovered a 44-foot (13-meter) powerboat reported stolen from Abaco.

Police said several people reported seeing the teenager Wednesday night in the waters between Eleuthera and Harbour Island, a nearby tourist destination known for its art galleries, but did not know about the Barefoot Bandit until after discovering a series of break-ins the next day. Harris-Moore's mistake was to return to the same area.

James Major, who rents cars on Eleuthera opposite Harbour Island, said a witness on his side of the channel reported a sighting of Harris-Moore to police early Sunday. He said locals had been on the lookout since the fugitive was blamed for trying to steal four boats and breaking into two buildings at the ferry landing.

"He might have been dangerous to the public," Major said. "Everybody is glad he was caught."

Greenslade said the high-speed chase began around 2 a.m. Sunday after police received tips from members of the public that the suspect was on Harbour Island.

The chase ended in the waters off the Romora Bay Resort & Marina on Harbour Island, where security director Kenneth Strachan reported seeing a young man running through the bush barefoot with a handgun, according to Anne Ward, who manages the property.

"When Kenny spotted him, he had a knapsack over his shoulder and a gun and he was yelling, 'They're going to kill me. They're going to kill me.' He was running up the dock," Ward said.

Ward said the fugitive ran back to the water and stole another boat but ran aground in the shallows, where police shot out his engine.

"At one point, the boy threw his computer in the water and put a gun to his head. He was going to kill himself. Police talked him out of it," Ward said.

Police declined to comment on whether Ward's account was accurate.

Harris-Moore is a skilled outdoorsman who honed his abilities growing up in the woods of Camano Island in Puget Sound about 30 miles (50 kilometers) north of Seattle.

Harris-Moore's mother, Pam Kohler, has said that he had a troubled childhood. His first conviction, for possession of stolen property, came at age 12. Within a few months of turning 13, he had three more.

Kohler has defended her son, saying the allegations against him are exaggerated. She previously told the AP that she hoped he would flee to a country that doesn't have an extradition treaty with the United States.

Reached early Sunday at her Camano home, Kohler said she'd heard the news about the arrest but had no comment.

Victims of the crimes Harris-Moore is accused of were happy to see him in custody.

"These people that support him, they've never been violated by having him break into their homes or businesses," said Joni Fowler, manager of a cafe on Orcas Island north of Seattle where Harris-Moore is accused of taking as much as $1,500. "Just knowing he has a huge network of supporters makes me really worry about the state of this country."

Fowler said she hopes Harris-Moore's arrest and upcoming court appearances will pop his mystique and fame -- "once everybody figures out he's no God."

Emily Langlie, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney's Office in Seattle, said that once Harris-Moore faces charges in the Bahamas, her office would seek to extradite him to Washington state and coordinate with local jurisdictions about how his case would proceed.

"There are obviously many jurisdictions that would like to prosecute him," she said.

Shauna Snyder, a private investigator on Whidbey Island near Camano, said she set up a legal defense fund for Harris-Moore at the request of his mother. She said that although she didn't know how much had been raised so far, the fund has been getting donations.

dirindirin...are you delusional?!? It is most definitely his fault! There are people all over this country that grow up in abusive households with degenerate parents and end up productive members of society. This guy made his choices and now has to deal with the consequences. It's people like you on jury's that let guilty convicts back into our society. I feel the same as ponderer.....he should have tried to burglarize a home where the homeowner owned a shotgun.....taught the little s**t a lesson!

God bless you Colton, it's not your fault whatever it is that you are being accused. You are very intelligent young man. Your parents are to blame for this unfortunate situation. Obviously both of them did not provide for you and give you a good direction in life. I feel for you, you could have been a very successful man in every way because you are smart. I wish for your freedom and enjoy a normal happy life soon. In your heart you did not want to harm anyone just for that it will prove you are a very innocent man. Don't be sad freedom and happiness awaits you. What a pity to be born in this beautiful world from abusive loosers like your parents. I don't blame you for what you did and for not calling your mother. I wish for your great success that you only deserved. Good opportunity awaits you don't be afraid. You deserve better than your no good parents. It was them why you did all this they never pay attention to you or love you. Many people loves you and follow you remember that.

I am shocked that so many support his behavior. They obviously have never had someone break into their home and take away their sense of security. If he stole his supporters laptops or cars, they would think very differently. Very glad NO ONE was physically hurt.

Here I kept hoping that he would break into some place where the owner was there with a shotgun...ah well, sometimes there is no justice in the world. Hopefully all of his charges will be served consecutively...that should keep in out of circulation for a very long time. I heard something about a book and movie deal; if that happens all the proceeds from either should be used to compensate all the victims of his crimes and whatever is left over should be paid into some law enforcement fund pay for all the man hours spent on trying to capture this little %^&@.

maurawinter, yes we do have compassion for other people, but when people start breaking the law and hurting other people, that is where our compassion ends. This kid obviously never got a dose of common sense or reality instilled in him by his parents. I have two kids in high school and they see kids like this all the time, the ones with everything that mommy and daddy bought for them, the ones that don't have any sense of right or wrong because mommy and daddy thought that a little discipline applied at the appropriate time might "hurt" them. And we also never see these kids doing activities like sports and other stuff with their mom and dad present, because mom and dad are usually off in their own little world. My kids both have cell phones but they earned the money themselves for it and they are both earning money themselves to pay for cars. Kids need to be taught that it's ok to get hurt sometimes and have a basic sense of values instilled in them by their parents.

It is good to see that most of the posters here agree that it's about time this punk finally got caught. And I really don't care who or where he got caught. The advantage he had here is that he knew the territority. As for his future, I hope he spends a good long time behind bars. 1 - There should be no bail, he's already proven that he is a flight risk. 2 - There should be no movie or book about this kid and his crimes, unless the proceeds go to pay restitution, including reimbursing law enforcement and the insurance compainies that paid for the damages he caused. Not to mention that I would never buy the book or see the movie. He's just another "it's all about me" kid that is getting way too much press for his selfish criminal way.

I think mom should be looked at by law enforcement too. She neglected her duties as a parent and let this kid become a crook. Now she's all poised to cash in on his infamous fame. Book deals? Movie deals? Better act fast, the public/media quickly loses interest. Any money that does get made I hope goes straight to restitution.

The guy should have stayed here in Washington where the over paid blue shirt gun thugs spend their days eating doughnuts and robbing drivers. He did what he wanted here for years and the bungling doughnut eaters were left flat footed. He made the mistake of going to a place where the local police actually intend to solve crimes. Big mistake.

maurawinter, I would have no problem saying it to your face. This 19 year old "boy" as you call him is nothing but a spoiled brat that thinks he is smarter than the rest of us and thinks he can live by his own rules and cares ZERO about anyone else. When I was growing up, my parents taught me things like rules and manners and to have respect for other peoples property. By showing compassion for this kind of behavior you are telling every kid out there that it's ok to act like this, go ahead and rob everybody blind, there will be no consequenses for your actions. You talk about showing a little bit of class, how about if this punk showed a little bit of class by following the rules and laws set down by society?? I guess that's a little too much to ask?? If this punk would have tried his antics in the area where I live he would have run into the business end of a 12 gauge or a .44 magnum sooner or later.

I bet none of your would have the gall to say these things if we could see your faces. Since when have you all been so perfect? Have some compassion or at least show a little bit of class. Liberterius, instead of wasting your money on this scumbag by buying all those books and magazines, why don't you donate it to charity and put it to a GOOD use?? Anyone who supports this smart-a** punk is a fool and those who aided him should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Anyone who thinks these are "victimless" crimes and "nobody got hurt" is either an idiot or has never had anything of value stolen from them. I have had my home broken into and things of value stolen, and it DOES hurt people. I noticed that this punk picked places like Camano Island and San Juans to pick on here locally. Places where a lot of bleeding hearts like his mommy live. If he would have picked Skagit Valley, Monroe, Arlington, or Snoqualmie Valley the outcome of this story probably would have been different, he would have run into some law-abiding gun owners and some frontier justice.

It is illegal to import a firearm or ammunition into The Bahamas or to possess a firearm in the country without appropriate permission. Penalties for illegal possession of a firearm or ammunition are strict, and can involve heavy fines, lengthy prison terms, or both. This will be for the gun he had and if he does come back all of the Federal crimes he committed are going to get him good. Federal pen for a 19 year old is going to be painful. We should start calling him Coleen instead of Colton.

Common criminal and thief. His mother's a mess, and probably greatly responsible for a child that became a criminal at age 12, and got worse at age 13. Let the Bahamas keep him for a while, and when they are done with him, auction off the rights for who gets to go next. The money raised could go to restitution for the victims, who surely won't find any from this punk.

emptynstr, I agree. I am so tired of the ignorants who think there is something special about Colton. He is a common criminal that should be locked up for a long time. Yeah, he knew his surroundings where he was hiding so of course he was able to stay ahead of the cops. He got lucky to not kill himself while trying to land planes that he barely knew how to fly. He might be smart but a genius he is certainly not. He deserves everything he has coming to him. @liberterius... do you even know what kyokushin is? And again, since you chose to not understand what someone said since you can't read apparently is that he stole the plane in the U.S. and flew it to a location outside to the U.S and that made it a federal crime with a long prison sentence. I think you are the one who should get a life. Who cares what you have done? Boasting about it makes you look like a petty person who has to brag about his stupidity to get attention.

I wish the darn media would NOT glamorize this kid's actions as if he were some sort of Robin Hood. He is a thief and has damaged millions of dollars worth of property which would take him a lifetime to pay back. I am glad that they caught him alive but he is going to need one heck of a lot of rehabilitation if he is ever to live a decent life. He may only be 19 but hey, a lot of 19 year olds get put in the slammer for a lot less than this and pay their dues to society. What he did was WRONG and he needs to pay for his crimes of stealing other peoples expensive property and damaging it. Just because he had a troubled life is still no excuse to have his story "glamorized" by the media. So what's the MESSAGE that this "story" is suppose to convey to anyone who reads about it or if a movie is made out of it so what? He gets some kind of "high" from that alone. What I would hate to see is a bunch of copy cats trying to see fi they can do the same thing and perpetrating this crime.

Amazing how serious the police department in the Bahamas is about catching , in a timely manner, "Barefoot" breaking in, looting, stealing from business' I think the police & sheriff departments here in WA couldn't be bothered... After all, "Barefoot" didn't hold up a bank, get a traffic violation, etc.... Why bother???? My opinion... The above mentioned departments of authority here in WA could have cared less about the expenses and problems "Barefoot" caused local business' and individuals....... Hooray for the authorities in the Bahamas... They have shown us here in WA and elsewhere = Don't mess around breaking laws there!"

Well said landesign1999 & grizzlyironbear. Colton is a thief. Endangered lives by stealing planes he could have crashed & killed many people. The victims do hurt. Paying a deductable or buying replacement property because someone steals from you effects them personally . My friend lived next door. Every time she was working- she worried about her home and cars. He STOLE her car & damanged it. He repeatedly BROKE into her home. ***Everyone who helped Colton (the criminal) should be charged also. Just like the Clemmons case!! Family serving time too. : -) The victims should sue for any $$ made from the story. He should not make a penny. Nor his mother. That stupid guy cost Washington alot. Charge him as an adult for everything.

Of course the biggest window into this kid's antics looks into his mother's house -- here she is condeming his actions (saying that he should not be idolized/that what he has done is wrong) while she's hiring an entertainment attorney to see where she can profit by it all. Not only should neither be allowed to profit from his story, the mother should be locked up in the same cell block!

What he has done is not cool, it's not funny, and it's unfortunately going to ruin what could have been a highly productive life. We've obviously produced a generation of kids who are gluttens for attention, and seem to have an affinity for unhealthy entitlement issues -- there's so much more satisfaction, though, when those traits are channeled toward Good.

Why are his actions being glorified?? What's to stop the next person from doing the same thing Colton has done? Especially if they get famous off it with possible book/movie deals???!! Just look at the fan base on Facebook!! Or the disturbing comments of support FOR Colton!! I, for one, will not be buying ANY book or supporting ANY future movie that may be made about Colton! Is there no better material to publish than that? And Colton's so-called "mother" does NOT deserve ANY royalties for the lack of guidance she has provided for her son. What a joke!! The whole thing is sickening and just needs to be put to rest. I hope he gets max sentence and we, the residents, can go back to living a safe, quiet life on Camano!!

He has already had many chances. He is no Robin Hood. He is just a common thief. His antics were likely to get both him and other people hurt or killed. Thieves like to rationalize that the things they stole were insured. Well, we all pay for that insurance. We also have to deal with the feelings of being violated when we are robbed. Stealing from people is an act of aggression akin to rape, only instead of using sex to assault your victims you use their property and destroy their sense of security. His mother is no doubt overjoyed that he will not be extradited to the US immediately. After he has spent some time in Bahamian jails, though, he may feel a little different. Perhaps he can be rehabilitated, but it will be a long time, if ever, before anyone ever trusts with him anything again. Make no mistake: he has ruined his life, but that was his choice, not the choice of his victims or the police who were pursuing him.

I think people side with him because they can't relate with his victims. They hear that someone had their airplane or their boat stolen and imagine the owners to be fabulously wealthy. Eleuthera, where they thought he was and eventually captured him is only 200 sq. mi. compared to Washington which around 70,000 sq. mi. So it's a little easier to search. I am a little disturbed by the people who want him executed for his crimes. It seems a little extreme. I'm curious as to how much property a person need to steal to warrant the state executing him?

In his favor he did not injure or kill anyone. The property he stole was insured. The boats, planes etc. all should have been insured unless the owners were idiots and quite possible they were. He is a thief, yes and it's a shame that this is the life he chose. I certainly can't excuse what he's done, but I think a kid that young ought to be given a second chance. Maybe a third chance. I think if they can give many people (non-white) who have done similar lawless things a chance than he deserves to get the same treatment. I wish him well. He's got a rotten upbringing and is the product of that upbringing. So, it's not entirely his fault he turned out like he did. I can't decide who is more disgusting: Colton as the criminal who has broken into homes and disrupted the lives of many innocent people, or his mother who apparently wants to profit from the damage her son has inflicted on his victims. Colton is a criminal. His mother is a money grubbing opportunist. I'm disgusted that Colton has 58,000 facebook fans. What does that say about all of us and our moral and social attitudes? I shudder to think. The media hype has made Colton a hero to many misguided people. I can only hope the legal process results in Colton being isolated from the rest of us for the remainder of his life. Someone like Colton can probably never be rehabilitated nor learn to respect the lives and property of others. We all need to be protected from him. As for his mother, the best course of action is for everyone to simply ignore her and her attorney's attempts to profit off the misery of others. She and her attorney have the potential to do a lot more damage.

Interesting. I do think that this child outrunning the authorities for two years has some merit, and gives some insight as to what needs to be upgraded in our local authorities, as well as the FBI who were also looking for him. That being said however, to back a repeated offense burglar and high dollar property thief, is sad. "He didn't hurt anyone.." that sentence is laughable. Have you ever felt the violation of having something of yours that you EARNED through YEARS of work to be simply rifled through and/or GONE one day? That feeling does hurt. I believe that not only Mr. Colton should spend years in federal prison for his 2 year reign of thefts, but also his mother should be spending time in there with him. And no possibility of ANY money should be EVER allowed to surface from either the childs exploits or from ANY of the remaining family members. EVER. If the story must come out, then 100% of the proceeds should go back to the individuals that had the items stolen.

He didn't hurt anyone? So, we don't take "take things seriously" until he hurts someone? What if he crashed that plane on a house or a school, then should we take it seriously? His mother has been defending his actions and blaming the police for so long that he actually believes he has the right to do whatever he wants. Then the group of idiots who have turned him into a "legend" have only made it worse. People have been hurt (the feelings of violation when he breaks into your house and the financial loss for the things he's stolen or damaged), then the public cries out that something should have been long ago. Unfortunately, this young man (he's not a teenager, but a man, as he's over 18), now has to learn the hard way that his mother was wrong, his "groupies" were wrong, and that he was wrong. He has to un-learn what she and they all taught him. He is not a hero or a legend, he is a common theif who a bunch of people "supported", now he pays the price.

The hardest part is landing safely and he never figured that out! @ pribby, colton is not a legend. If you think it was fun to hear about a criminal everyday, why don't you just save us the trouble and commit yourself to a mental hospital before you start committing crimes yourself. @ wawriter, well considering he is a CRIMINAL and may have had a weapon (and probably did, even if it might have been a knife or some tool that could be used as such), drawing a gun on him is justifiable. My comment about "not hurting anyone" was more a long the lines of that he didn't physically hurt anyone. As far as some of you calling for him to die - or be harmed - ARE YOU SERIOUS?? Do you really think that someone should be put to death or beaten over this?? Come on people.. Get real!! Sure he's going to do some MAJOR time for his actions and deservably so!! But if for one minute you think about the things he did.. and how long it took for him to get caught (NOT BY US AUTHORITIES.. which is a MAJOR SLAP on them too) is rather impressive. How he was hiding right under our noses but yet it's like he wasn't even there. He never hurt anyone in his adventure. It was a lot of fun to keep hearing about him. Finally, he decided he needed a vacation before trapping himself in the Bahamas. For all of you that are against him, lighten up! You got to admit, he was pretty awesome. Colton has a genius IQ. When my son was tested and marked "genius" at a young age, the counselor at his school said, "Bright children like this can either go the way of Manson or Einstein. It's up to you to make the difference." Colton has been outsmarting the law since he was 12 years old. As I look back at the movie, "Catch Me If You Can," my immediate thought is that Colton could someday help the FBI catch criminals in the same way that Frank Abagnale has done. I think all the posts about "they should have taken him out" are immature and ridiculous. You don't draw weapons on an unarmed man and shoot him because he stole boats and cars. Good grief!

Hopefully, the legal system will block any ability of both Colton and his mother profiting financially from any of these crimes...at the very least any revenue genereated should go toward reimbursing all those who lost property, full reimbursement for all the costs involved in trying to run him down, and any costs involved in his defense. If there is any left over money it should go into a general fund to benefit victims of crime. Anyone who supports this criminal or thinks this was exciting or fun to follow needs a head check...it was dangerous, costly, and totally disrespectful to everyone. If it were possible to do so, he should be incarcerated in the toughest prison out there for the rest of his life...he will now go on to forge an even broader criminal career...put him to hard labor until the day he dies.

Finally! I have to wonder just what it means that the Bahamas authorities did in just a few days what all of Washington State law enforcement and the FBI no less, could not do in 2 years. What do you think it means King 5 team? That sick kid is a menace. We're glad he's off the streets. Hopefully he can be retrained, rehabilitated, and healed from his childhood gone bad while he is safely away from all of us.

SFisher, "He wasn't really hurting anyone"? Are you for real? I hope you are never unlucky enough to be ripped off, perhaps then you would know how it makes one feel totally violated. Then to have someone come along and say he wasn't really hurting anyone just violates the victims further.

I'm really glad Colton managed to get captured without getting hurt. He's very lucky in that regard. It could very well have turned out much worse for him. What I find most disturbing about this entire story is the number of people that support and idolize this kid. Would they like their property broken into and stolen or do they just like it when it happens to someone else? I hope the courts make certain that any money he and his mom get out of selling his story go to paying restitution to those whose property was stolen or damaged with any remainder going to a charity. It would be a travesty if he was allowed to profit from this.

It's unfortunate that Roberta Romero is obviously an admirer of this criminal. She gets too excited about this jerks ability to evade the police! I'm sure Roberta is a member of his fan page, and not as a function of her job. The Bahamian Police should have taken him out, 10 miles offshore, thrown him in the water and left him to swim to shore. Drowning would have gone a long way to preventing his becoming a folk hero...

Unlike what some immature minds may say, this is no folk hero...this is an unmitigated criminal. He should receive the absolute maximum penalties for his criminal activities. Unfortunately, as young as he is, he will be out of prison at some point and will no doubt resume his criminal career. His mother and those immature minds need to get a clue...this is not "clever" and it is not acceptable. His actions are without regard for others and cost everyone a great deal of money spent in repairing the damage he brings to owners of property he steals and damages, in the cost of law enforcement man hours, and creates the possibility of all kinds of bodily harm to many. There is no justification in his behaviors and absolutely nothing admirable about this immature and greedy man.

It's about time! I find it amazing that this young man was able to evade law enforcement for such a long time. I expect his family will want to capitalize on his life story. If the court system is to do just, it should ensure that any money, via profit from this man's story, be given to the families whose lives he has hurt. He and his mothers should forfeit any money that is given to them. He is not a hero. He is a common thief, and deserves to go to prison for a very long time. He will never stop.

I would like to say that we should sing the praises of all those young people on Colton's generation that do not steal from others. i think it is true that even many of those people with "poor baby troubled childhoods" manage to go out and earn what ever they have. Now that he has been caught we can all sit back and watch the system fail again while this brat laughs he way back to a life of crime and hurting others rather than getting a job. There are places where he would be in serious trouble once captured, but Washington state in namby pamby land for criminals. So I think within a year, tax payers will be paying law enforcement to look for him all over again.

Ok, ok everyone. We have a topic to discuss here not attacking each others' education levels. I agree that it was pretty easy to catch Colton in the Bahamas due to he not being familiar with the area. But then maybe he was. We only know what the media has told us. He's been on the Internet and watched TV so he's probably been able to follow his own story until now. Who knows? Maybe he was tired of being on the run. You try it for 2 years. I'm pretty positive it's not so easy and "fun" to try to get money and food without being discovered. 2 years is a long time when you are hiding. If you feel someone is being offensive in their comments on here, please be mature about it by FLAGGING the comment rather than stooping to their level and attacking back with another immature comment. We should all be adults here.

You reap what you sow...... It really should be illegal to profit from crime by selling your story. The people that offer money for these type of stories should receive the same sentence as the guilty. Maybe that would put an end to some of this stupidity. As for the kid; I think a good 5 to 10 years rotting in prison would be appropriate.

It seems they have competent police in the Bahamas, unlike the bungling fools in blue here in Washington. It took the Bahamanians only a few days to run down the wayward teenager who the Washington pigs hadn't managed to catch for years. Washington pigs are all about robbing drivers and beating the Shinola out of "civilians." Any real crime, and they are totally lost. They never will solve the "mystery" of the boy who was dumped off of Sauvie Island by his step mom. They will never solve most of the "crimes" here in WA. But they are really good at robbing drivers who go 5 over on Aurora, or who don't make a "full and complete stop" on NE 75th street. The other big difference is that the WA gun thugs get paid a lot more than anyone who has to work for a living. In the Bahamas, they expect the police to actually work for a reasonable wage.
