It was supposed to be a short stay in the animal clinic and then home for the holidays, but it didn't turn out that way for a 3-year-old English bulldog named Frankie.

UPDATE: Dec. 26, 2009 - Someone saw the story about Frankie on KING 5 News and spotted the dog. The owner went to that location and found her pet. She says he is doing well.

I found Frankie today!! He was hiding in Bellevue in someone's back yard, my little trooper survived 7 nights in the cold and rain. I'm so thankful to have him back! Thank you to everyone who commented here, he's happy to be back on the couch;)

I'm willing to pay a large reward or I could trade for a new Bulldog puppy!! I really want him back, I know he's hoping to find me too;( Anyone who says Diamonds are a girls best friend has never been loved by a Bulldog.... Thank you to everyone who see's this and spreads the word, good deeds don't go unnoticed!!

My heart also breaks for her and Frank. A couple of ideas to help find Frank. First, post a large reward, and have the animal hospital pay for it. Also, check with Blood Hound dog people. Is it possible they could help track Frank? They certainly track all kinds of things. Is there a rescue tracker dog club? At this point, I don't think any idea is too far fetched. I will keep praying for Frank. If nothing else, "Get Jessie!"

My heart goes out to her, and I hope she finds Frank! I don't believe Frank just ran off his leash like that, if he just had surgery. The Tacoma Animal Emergency "lost" our dog's cremated remains this past summer, and lied to us for a week about it. Something needs to be done that there is more responsibility taken for these clinic's actions.
