Seattle's Pride weekend will be especially meaningful this year after Wednesday's landmark Supreme Court rulings, which paved the way for legally married same-sex couples to receive federal benefits and lifted California's ban on same-sex marriage.

Adam McRoberts of Seattle Out and Proud joined KING 5 Morning News to discuss the court's decisions and the weekend's festivities.

"My relationship now is going to be treated equally under the law. It's been such a long battle and such a long struggle and I never would have thought that in this day and age we would be at this point so quickly," McRoberts said when asked how the court's rulings impacted him personally.

McRoberts said he expected this year's Pride Parade and celebration to be the largest one yet.
