SEATTLE -We're hearing the first 911 calls that came in from Thursday's shooting on the Seattle Pacific University campus. They describe the moments just after the shooting took place.

As help rushed in, a hushed voice cried out.

"Please hurry," whispered a female student who was hiding in her professor's office.

"In the lobby. He's in the lobby," she said.

Her call was among several from Otto Miller Hall Thursday afternoon, telling 911 dispatchers about the shooting on the Seattle Pacific University campus.

By now many have heard about how a 26-year-old gunman opened fire killing one person and wounding others. 911 recordings show how an injured student tried to offer as many details as he could during the chaos that followed.

"There was someone that was shot and I was hit with shrapnel," the student said. "I believe he was in a white truck."

Seattle police said the 911 recordings tell the story of the bravery shown during yesterday's tragic shooting.
