SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle police now say a woman who claimed to have been raped in a parking garage near Seattle University and Swedish Medical Center lied about the attack.

The female medical worker said she was attacked about 6 a.m. last Friday when she went down to her car in the garage to retrieve a cellphone and was startled by a man wearing a hooded sweat shirt and ski mask.

Alerts were sent to workers in the area and to Seattle U. students.

Police said Wednesday they think the woman has medical issues, adding they will not be pursuing charges against her.

People who think they can get away with something like that hav'nt considered that now a days you are on video camera just about everywhere you go. When I think about how stupid the average criminal is I realize about half of them are even more stupid than that. So Whats Your Beef ?
