Three people were injured Tuesday in a head-on crash near Enumclaw.
According to Washington State Patrol Sgt. Donovan Daly, an 18-year-ol driver was traveling southbound on SR 169 around 8:30 a.m.
Approaching Southeast 416th Street, the driver attempted to pass another car but didn't make it back into his lane on time.
The car hit an oncoming truck in the northbound lanes head-on.
Troopers said everyone was wearing seat belts.
Both drivers suffered broken legs. A 12-year-old passenger was also injured in the crash, but was alert and talking to first responders at the scene.
