The Honda Accord remains the most popular car on the road -- for car thieves.
LoJack, a company that sells vehicle tracking devices, released their list last week of the top ten most stolen and recovered cars of 2013, all equipped with a LoJack device.
The Honda Accord topped the list for the fifth year in a row, followed by:
2. Honda Civic
3. Toyota Camry
4. Toyota Corolla
5. Chevrolet Silverado
6. Acura Integra
7. Cadillac Escalade
8. Ford F-350
9. Nissan Altima
10. Chevrolet Tahoe
Washington state ranked 10th for the most thefts and recoveries in 2013.
Color is also a factor. Black was the most popular color for recovered vehicles, while the least common color was turquoise.
The oldest car stolen and recovered in 2013 was a 1963 Cadillac Convertible. The most expensive was a 2011 Porsche Panamera, worth $103,400.
