BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- Two men have been charged in Bellingham for the stabbing of a convicted sex offender.
The Bellingham Herald reports that 28-year-old Henry K. Redlightning faces a second-degree assault charge for allegedly stabbing 21-year-old Christopher Wade on his chest, back and lung.
A second man faces a complicity to assault for allegedly providing the knife used and throwing the knife in a river.
Court documents say Redlightning was angry at Wade because Wade would not admit what his offense was.
Wade survived his wounds.
