Parents need to be smart and unselfish. Most divorces are just people giving up early and being lazy. If you think you may divorce, then DON'T have kids! Of course there are good reasons such as abuse, but just because you fell out of love with someone, times are hard, or just want something new... THINK! Divorce has life long impacts on children- they don't just "cope" or "get over it". The selfish narcissistic parents need to get over themselves.
