There's nothing more American than a heavy metal, head-banging beat and bottles of booze.
The band's name is Koz of Konfuzion. They're so loud I call them cause for earplugs.
David Bro is the lead singer.
"If it ain't loud then it ain't metal," he says.
In October the guys from Graham played in a battle of the bands contest at Seattle's Studio 7. The group played well and took second place. Their prize was 100 posters, but the promoter, a company called Supernova out of Toronto, never sent them.
"It's a matter for principal. Yeah, it's only 100 posters, but it's our 100 posters," said David.
Making matters worse, the promoters asked the band if other groups could use Koz's equipment. David agreed, but the other groups busted his group's drums.
"So I was trying to get to the bottom of it and I was getting the brush off, so I said you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to call Jesse Jones, KING 5 News," he said.
After banging their own heads against the wall, they called me. I got on the phone and called the promoter, and they are now singing a different tune.
"They know we got the butt end of the deal," said David.
The promoter quickly gave us a preview of the band's new posters.
In the meantime, Koz of Konfuzion has plenty of gigs to play.
The promoter says the company they used to provide the prizes went out of business and they were happy to step up. Supernova says it's going to replace the damaged equipment, hook them up with a gig and professional mixing services.
