KING 5 environmental specialist Gary Chittim and photojournalist Carolyn Hall found themselves in the middle of a tense dispute last July when they were in Northeast Washington attempting to document the presence of a new wolf pack.
In the video above, they offer a deeper look at the issues involved, as the state tries to balance the needs of farmers and ranchers with their mission to protect an endangered species.
