Two bears at Seattle’s Woodland Park Zoo got an irresistible offer.

They were given trash cans full of tasty and smelly treats. All they had to do was open them.

A couple hours later, the cans were scratched and dented, but the bears were disappointed. They never got them open.

Now, CleanScapes, the company that took over the trash hauling contract for the City of Issaquah,  is offering the can to its customers who are worried about attracting bears.

Experts say trash cans are the number one reason bears come into towns and cities.

People hoping to avoid that can pay an extra $1.50 per month to get a can that even a grizzly can’t open.
