With Halloween right around the corner, there’s plenty of spooky fun for the whole family. Lynn Jacobson, Features Editor at the Seattle Times, tells us about the best Seattle has to offer over the weekend.
1. Theater Muertos: It’s not Halloween, but the art and spirituality of Mexican culture will be celebrated at a “Day of the Dead” festival at Seattle Center on Saturday. The festival will honor the lives of loved ones who have passed with community alters, sugar skulls, music and dance.
2. Museum of Fright: The Museum of Flight will transform to the Museum of Fright on Sunday, with family-friendly activities for children.
3. Issaquah Zombie Walk: Zombies of all ages will congregate for the fourth annual Downtown Zombie Walk on Saturday night. The evening will include a flash-mob dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”
