Interest on government student loans is set to double today, creating a crisis for some college graduates.

Effective July 1st, rates will double from 3.4-percent to 6.8-percent.

Appearing on KING5 Morning News, University of Washington-Bothell Chancellor Dr, Kenyon Chan said the increase will force  some students to choose whether or not to continue their education.
