Gentlemen, take notes. Here's another proposal that will be sure to give your significant other some ideas.
Renting the very plane the couple had their first date in, Adam Liston, a pilot from Omaha, Neb., gave his girlfriend, Mandi, the engagement story of a lifetime.
While Liston flew up in the air under the guise of taking aerial photos, family members below were setting up a banner with the question, "Mandi, Will You Marry Me?"

Thirty minutes passed before he suggested taking a picture of their house.
When Mandi zoomed in on their street, she saw what she says was "the biggest surprise of my life," and she turned to find Liston with a ring in hand.
Once back on solid ground, Liston dropped to one knee and explained he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
"The surprises didn't end there," says Mandi. Liston had captured every angle of the special moment on film and in photos.
"I thought it would be a good idea to bring my girlfriend up in my plane and change her life forever!" writes Liston.
The couple says, "We are so excited to start our forever together!"
