A 22-year-old man will spend 20 months in prison for a crash that killed a 16-year-old girl in 2011.
The News Tribune reports Brandon Fair pleaded guilty to one count of vehicular homicide and one count of reckless endangerment in the death of Clara Vallone, a soccer player at Graham-Kapowsin High School.
Fair reportedly admitted he was speeding down Canyon Road when he lost control, hopped a curb and hit a utility pole. Vallone and teammate Maryssa Beare were in the back seat. Beare had several fractures, cuts and contusions.
Prosecutors said Fair has a history of driving without a valid license or insurance.
