A Snohomish County woman is in jail after allegedly trying to run over her husband with an SUV three times – and missed.
The Everett Herald reports the 39-year-old woman called 911 Wednesday to report she had been assaulted by her husband.
Her husband and a witness reportedly told police that his wife tried to run him over on their property near Monroe. On the third attempt, she reportedly tried to drive over a rock pile her husband was standing behind, but the SUV got stuck.
A deputy wrote in court documents that the woman eventually admitted to trying to hit her husband.
