FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- Federal Way police are looking for a man in connection with two attempted child abductions over the weekend.

Both incidents happened near Brigadoon Elementary School.

On Saturday, an 8-year-old girl told police a man walked up to her in a play field and asked her if she wanted candy. She says the man grabbed her, but she bit and scratched him, allowing her to get away.

The next day, a 7-year-old boy walking in the same area told police a man tried to grab him.

Both kids gave police a similar description of their attacker: a Hispanic male, between 30-50 years of age wearing a reddish/purple baseball hat and a red bandana around his neck. During one of the attacks, the suspect also wore a blue-t-shirt, tan "tight" pants and black shoes.

If you have any information, call Federal Way police.
