A Silverdale man was reportedly arrested for DUI twice in 24 hours last week.
The Kitsap Sun reports the driver allegedly hit multiple vehicles in Central Kitsap on April 5. Court documents indicate he was arrested and treated at the hospital because his blood-alcohol level was 0.26 -- more than three times the legal limit. The Sun reports he didn’t go to Kitsap County Jail because it’s jail policy that the limit to be booked there is 0.25.
After leaving the hospital, the man allegedly caused two more crashes on April 6 in Bremerton, according to police.
The 54-year-old is in jail on $150,000 bail. Court records indicate he was previously charged with DUI in 1992 and 2009.
