Robbery suspect dead after a shootout with Tukwila police

A robbery suspect was shot and killed by Tukwila Police after a shootout outside of a Cash and Carry on 230 Andover Park East in Tukwila.

Police say at 7:30pm Saturday evening, they received a 911 call of a robbery from a whispering employee inside the Cash and Carry.  

The employee told 911 dispatchers that a masked gunman had taken the manager to the back of the store.  

Officers arrived and surrounded the store.  

According to police, when the gunman came out, gunfire ensued.   Officer don't know who shot first but the gunman was killed.

All officers involved in the shooting have been placed on administrative leave.  No officers were injured.  

Tukwila Police will continue to investigate.
