BOTHELL, Wash. -- Police said a woman who was found dead in her Bothell home was killed by homicidal violence.
Bothell Sgt. Cedric Collins said investigators aren't releasing any other information about possible suspect.
According to her employer, the victim is Susann Smith, 37, a mother of two young kids under the age of seven. A spokesperson for the D.S.H.S. said the children are in protective custody.
Smith’s employer, Z2Live in Seattle, said they were heartbroken by her death.
“When Susann didn't arrive to work this week, we became alarmed and after repeated calls to her went unanswered, we phoned the Bothell authorities, who at that time informed us of her death," said Lou Fasulo, CEO of Z2Live.
Detectives spent a second day at Smith’s home, on the 200 block of 240th St. SW in Bothell.
Police have not released when Smith was killed. Neighbors said Smith was going through a divorce, and that the children were with their father last weekend.
