SEATTLE — A man accused of raping a cleaning woman in his office on the Microsoft campus in Redmond pleaded not guilty Wednesday in Seattle.
The 36-year-old, Vineet Kumar Srivastava, remains free on bail, awaiting his next court hearing next month in King County Superior Court.
The judge reportedly ordered him to surrender his passport.
He is charged with second-degree rape in the July 22 attack. Prosecutors say he summoned the woman in his office late at night and sexually assaulted her. He says she demanded to have sex with him.
Microsoft says he no longer works for the company.
