FBI agents plan to charge a Mill Creek man with federal charges of making and sharing child pornography online.
Phillip Allen, 56, has been in jail since his arrest last July. He was charged with child rape in Snohomish County, but that charge could be dismissed in wake of the federal charges.
According to court documents, Allen's home computer was searched when his email was uncovered during a sting in Indiana.
Agents found pictures and video of children on his computer, some believed to have been taken in his home.
One young girl interviewed by detectives described several instances in which she was allegedly molested by Allen, court documents stated.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children recognized images of some of the girls in at least three other unrelated child pornography investigations.
