A Seattle man who was shot in the face by a pellet gun walked to a nearby fire station for help.

A man walking his dog in West Seattle was shot in the mouth by a pellet gun.

Police said a male subject stepped out of a possible suspect residence and was being interviewed by officers.

Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 4700 block of 38th Avenue SW at about 4:56 p.m.

The Seattle Fire Department said the 31-year-old man walked to Fire Station 32 to be treated for a facial injury.

Medics then transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center.
