A Spanaway middle school was vandalized on two Sundays in October, the Pierce County Sheriffs Department said.
On Oct. 14 and 28, windows in several portable classrooms were smash. The incidents happened around 3 p.m. on both Sundays.
Surveillance camera footage showed three people carrying out the vandalism, all white males. Two appear to be 12 or 13 years old, and about 5’5” tall and between 110 and 140 pounds. The third looks to be 8 or 9 years old and about 70 pounds.
The footage shows that the vandals wore dark colored hooded sweatshirts and rode BMX-style bicycles. There is a reward being offered for information leading to the arrest and charging of these boys. Crime Stoppers can be reached at (253) 591-5959 or at 1-800-222-TIPS.
