A man who rode his bicycle from Baltimore to Portland to raise money for young adults affected by cancer had his bike stolen in Parkland, Wash., this week.
The News Tribune reports Zach Boyer and the rest of his group decided to visit Seattle before heading home. They spent Monday night with an acquaintance in Parkland.
When they woke up Tuesday, they found that someone had broken the bike racks off both of the group’s vans. The vans had the Ulman Cancer Fund logo displayed on them.
Two bikes were stolen and a window was broken on the van. The total loss is estimated at $3,000.
