Lynden Police are searching for a man in the attempted abduction of a 10-year-old girl.
Police say the incident occurred at about 4 p.m. Friday near the intersection of 4th St and Liberty in Lynden. The victim was able to escape with minor injury.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20's to early 30's. He was wearing a black T-shirt and white, brown, and black plaid shorts. The two sketches are from information supplied by the victim and an independent witness.
The suspect vehicle is described as a white full-size extended cab pick-up with a tool box (possibly diamond plate) in the bed. There is a distinct gold colored cross on the left side of the tailgate. (see photo)
