Grant County Sheriff’s detectives have arrested one of three Moses Lake teens suspected of stabbing another teen Tuesday night and were searching for the other two.

Officials say Dahndre Westwood, 14, was arrested at a Moses Lake convenience store Wednesday morning, not far from the scene of the crime. Tips from citizens led police to his location, where he was arrested without incident. Still at large are Travis Stotts, 17, and Victor Meija, 16.

Police say the three suspects were confronted by three other teens around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday near Arlington Drive and Lowry Drive in the Larson Housing Area, north of Moses Lake. During that confrontation, a 16-year-old boy was stabbed several times. The victim was taken to Samaritan Hospital, where he underwent surgery. He was last listed in stable condition.

Stotts is described as a 17-year-old white male, 5'5", 160 lbs. Mejia is described as a 16-year-old Hispanic male, 5'6", 205 lbs. (No photo available.)

Officials say the three suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to call 911 or email information to crimetips@co.grant.wa.us.
