15-year-old shot in leg in Lacey drive-by shooting

LACEY, Wash.— A 15-year-old was walking with a teenage friend in the 7800 block of Samurai Drive SE in Lacey when a male opened fire on them from a moving car Thursday night.

Police say eight shots were fired; one of the bullets struck the male 15-year-old was hit in the leg. His injury is considered non-life threatening.

Police don’t know if the victim knew the shooter. They say it may have been something that can be traced back to the victim’s school.

The driver was described as Hispanic, the passenger, the shooter was described as “dark-skinned” possibly African-American.

The suspect's car is described as an early 2000’s silver Honda or Acura, with a spoiler on the back. It had no rear license plate.
