BREMERTON, Wash. -- A $10,000 reward is on the table for anyone who can help bring about an arrest and conviction in the murders of two Bremerton women.

Sara Burke, 19, was stabbed to death in May of 2011 and Melody Brannon was killed earlier this month.

Police believe both victims were alone and walking on the sidewalk prior to being attacked. The suspect may have also followed both women.

Bremerton Police as well as FBI detectives are investigating the cases possibly as the work of a serial killer.

The person of interest in the case is described as having a dark complexion, and may be a light skin black or mixed race male.  He may be in his late teens or early twenties, 6'0" tall with slender build.  This person has a blemish that could be a mole, sore, cut, wart, birthmark or acne near his nose or lip. He was wearing a black or navy blue watch cap with hair sticking out around the bottom of the cap.  He was last seen in the 1300 block of High Avenue on Friday, February 3, 2012, between 5:00 and 7:00 P.M.

In addition, a man was attacked in June, 2011 on Burwell Street. Investigators are interested in contacting the man who stopped to check on the victim right after the attack. Officers said he followed the suspect and confronted him. The witness was described as a white male, driving a gold pickup truck on Burwell Street at approximately 3:00 PM Monday June 20, 2011.

Information should be called into the Bremerton Police Department Tip Line at (360) 473-5481.
