This summer Helen Brunsdon stepped up to the plate and ordered the Triple Play promotion from Comcast. That's Internet, TV and phone for one price. And if the Kenmore resident made three payments on time she'd get a Dell Netbook.
"Oh, that's a good idea. I could use it as a Christmas gift," said Helen.
Her first bill was in August and three payments later, Helen said, "I haven't heard diddly squat and I'm a little bit frustrated with Comcast."
Helen tried to write the company and got nothing but cramped fingers.
"The next step is that I'm going to be cancelng Comcast," Helen says angrily.
Helen called me and I went to Comcast's Everett call center and talked to an apologetic spokesman Steve Kipp.
"First of all, I want to apologize to Helen that she had to go through this in the first place," he said.
Steve is personally taking care of Helen. Not only will she get her netbook right away, they've also taken 25 bucks off her bill. And to Helen that's good news.
"I'm very pleased," she said.
Steve Kipp says there are communication issues between Comcast and the third party vendor that is delivering the netbooks. And they're currently working out the kinks.
If you haven't received your netbook, Comcast wants you to call them now.
