Strong early morning winds forced firefighters to go defensive on a house fire in Tacoma Friday.
The fire near N. 24th Street and N. Adams Street was reported around 3:30 a.m. Firefighters found the house fully engulfed when they arrived. No other homes were threatened.
The only person inside got out safely.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
