TACOMA – Police say a Tacoma woman called them Friday morning and admitted killing her 2-year-old son.
Tacoma Police spokesman Mark Fulghum said the woman called around 7 a.m. Officers arrived at the home in the 3600 block of S. Thompson Avenue and took the boy to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police could not say how the boy died or why the mother allegedly killed him.
The mother is in custody. She is scheduled to appear in Pierce County court on Monday.
Neighbors said the boy's name was Noah. One woman said she recently held the boy and suspected he was neglected and possibly malnourished.
