A car crashed into a Tacoma home early Friday morning after being chased by Peirce County sheriff’s deputies.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on South 38th Street near South K Street.
A Tacoma Police spokesman said the chase started when the driver failed to pull over for a deputy. The chase went through several Tacoma streets.
Deputies eventually decided to stop pursuing the driver, but began the chase after spotting the vehicle again.
The driver lost control and crashed into the unoccupied house.
Nobody in the home was hurt. The driver was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
