On the one-year anniversary of Charlie and Braden Powell's deaths, a community gathered Tuesday night to remember the boys with a candlelight vigil.
At that address one year ago, Josh Powell blew up his rental home, killing his two young boys and himself during a supervised visit with a social worker.
Josh was the chief suspect in his wife's 2009 disappearance. Susan Powell was last seen in Utah in December of 2009.
Josh's father, Steve Powell, was convicted on voyeurism charges. Steve had thousands of pictures of women and girls who didn't know they were being photographed, including many of Susan, his daughter-in-law.
Police believe Steve knows something about Susan's disappearance, but he has been uncooperative with the investigation.
Susan's disappearance is still a mystery, but her parents are fighting for new legislation that would keep children from visiting parents who are murder suspects.
The community wants to build park in memory of Charlie and Braden Powell. Donations for the "Community Memorial Field" are being accepted at any BECU branch.
