A public memorial service for the late Gov. Booth Gardner will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, on the University of Puget Sound campus in Tacoma.
The Memorial Fieldhouse, where the service will be held at UPS, will open to the public at 10 a.m. The entrance is on N. 11th Street, just off Union Ave.
TVW public affairs network, which is channel 23 in most of Western Washington, will provide live coverage as well as a live webcasting from its website.
Gardner, who served two terms as governor from 1985 to 1993, died Friday, March 15, at the age of 76.
