A fugitive teen wanted in connection with a 2010 gang killing is back in Western Washington.
The Pierce County Prosecutor's office says a judge will determine whether Naitaalii Toleafoa will be tried as a juvenile or an adult. The 18-year-old was extradited from Medico back to Tacoma on a first-degree murder charge.
Toleafo was 15 when police say he and a friend went to the Tacoma home of gang leader Juan Zuniga back in May of 2010. Zungia was shot and killed in the incident, another man was wounded.
Seven people have been convicted of felonies in connection with Zuniga's death.
