Pierce County Sheriff's deputies will honor the memories of Charlie and Braden Powell Friday by helping other children in foster care.

The Powell boys died in February after their father, Josh Powell, attacked them during a supervised visit.

A poster of a dinosaur belonging to Charlie inspired the detectives to create the non-profit project "Charlie's Dinosaur."

The goal is to provide foster care kids with backpacks full of toys and supplies.

A special donation drive is taking place for the project Friday at the South Hill Walmart, located at 310 Mosolf Road in Puyallup.
