An autographed etching donated to Tacoma Goodwill has sold at auction for $21,005.

The etching was recently donated at the Federal Way Goodwill station.

A Tacoma Goodwill spokesperson said the money will mean 14 scholarships for people with disabilities and disadvantages to get training they need to find jobs.

The buyer is a man from North Carolina who does not want to be identified.

"My wife and I are very interested in Salvador Dali's work," said the buyer. "We saw the Dali on the news and thought it would be a great way to add to our collection while supporting a great cause. We donate to Goodwill all the time and are very happy that our purchase is helping those in need."

Last year the Tacoma Goodwill helped 8,600 people find work.
