A car drove off a Tacoma freeway overpass Wednesday afternoon, killing one person.
The victim's car was exiting SR 509 and lost control, according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Guy Gill.
The car drove off the overpass and crashed onto northbound I-705.
The car landed on its top, killing a man.
Washington State Patrol troopers closed some lanes of northbound I-705 at SR 509 in order to investigate.
Gill said the investigation found no braking or steering from the driver, so the crash may have been caused by a medical incident.
