SEATTLE -- A group of at least six men could be responsible for 10 robberies in less than a week, according to Seattle police.
The robberies occurred at various locations across the city from July 31 through August 5. Many of the crimes happened at night and early in the morning, but two of the robberies occurred during the day.
Investigators believe members of the group pulled a knife on a pizza delivery driver August 1 near the 7100 block of Holly Park Drive South. Two of the suspects are also accused of forcing another victim to drive to Renton. Police said they pistol-whipped the man and stole his wallet.
On August 5, detectives believe the suspects followed two women near 52nd and 15th Avenue NE and demanded their purses at gunpoint.
Investigators believe the suspects are black men between 18 and 25 years old. Detectives received information that they may be East African or Somali. During one of the robberies, the suspects were seen driving a green Toyota Camry. If you have any information, contact the Seattle Police Department.
