He might be a Seattle hip-hop legend, but Sir Mix-A-Lot is now using his talent to help a Seattle-area rock band.
The "Baby Got Back" star produced the debut album of one of the city's rising rock bands, Ayron Jones and the Way. Jones, a 27-year-old Roosevelt High School graduate, and his band just released their full-length debut "The Dream" earlier this week. The band will be playing a show featuring Sir Mix-A-Lot this Saturday night at Neumos.
Both Sir Mix-A-Lot and Jones stopped by KING 5 to discuss the album, the influence that hailing from Seattle has on their music and the legacy of "Baby Got Back."
