Travel+Leisure has released their list of America's Snobbiest Cities, and Seattle is in the top 10.
The magazine analyzed responses from their annual survey about America's favorite cities to come up with their list of twenty using traditional and modern definitions of snobbery. Factors such as a reputation for being aloof and highly intelligent residents were combined with being tech savvy and a focus on caring for the environment.
Seattle tied with Santa Fe for the fifth spot on the list. Travel and Leisure listed the city's love for coffee and tech as reasons for its high ranking.
Preceding Seattle on the list were San Francisco, New York, Boston and Minneapolis/St. Paul. Check out all 20 cities in our gallery.
