In North Seattle on Sunday, marchers set out to show there are people of faith who support marriage for same-sex couples.
People from different churches joined forces for the march down Greenwood and Phinney avenues.
The group supports approval of Referendum 74, which will legalize marriage in Washington state.
"It's important that we allow people of all orientations to be able to love their partners without legal barriers,” said Bill Purcell.
"And I think a lot of gays and lesbians felt excluded from churches and we want to say you are welcomed and we support this right to marry,” said Carol Jensen, Pastor at St. John United Lutheran Church.
