South Lake Union is hosting a huge food truck festival Saturday, featuring 45 of the best food trucks around the Northwest.
This is the second year for the Mobile Food Rodeo, which will feature trucks from Seattle, Portland and Idaho.
This year there are some changes, starting with free admission, a beer garden that will benefit Cranio Care Bears and a larger seating area for attendees to enjoy their mobile food all day long.
Organizers say the Mobile Food Rodeo aims to spotlight the stars of street food - the hardworking, micro-businesseses that keep Seattle’s foodies fed year round.
The lines will be long, but organizers say they will be offering some activities and prizes to keep everyone busy.
Hours are noon to 7 p.m. in South Lake Union at 200 8th Ave. N.
